Oxygen

Though we offer many tracks for students to be a part of throughout the year depending on their ministry and occupational desires, the epicenter and ground zero for MC ATL as a whole is what we call OXYGEN.  Oxygen is our outreach to youth and young adults that takes place every Wednesday night on campus.  Students will not just “be a part of Oxygen” they will assist Jeanne Mayo and her team in leading a youth ministry that began five years ago with just 20 students and now averages approximately 300+ weekly.

Students are plugged in as assistant leaders in our small groups, which we call O2 Groups.  Each O2 group consists of 15-40 students and each represents a different age grouping, middle school, high school or college & career.  O2 groups meet regularly, outside of a Wednesday night, throughout the month.  Wednesday night is just our night to all come together and be one big, unified family!  The Corey Evan Worship band leads up in a weekly worship experience that is truly a face to face encounter with our Creator.  When Pastor Corey is not traveling with his team, he also jumps in and assists MC as our Co-Worship director for MC ATL.

Every year, Oxygen organizes several large outreaches in addition to the weekly O2 group activities.  Some of the favorite outreaches include two life-changing weekend retreats, Pumpkin Bowl (our annual flag football competition), Dodge Ball Tournament, Hiking Trips, Beach Trips, Awaken, our city wide worship experience with the Corey Evan Team and much much, more!  As a student at MC ATL, you not only have a chance to be a part of this thriving, nationally-recognized ministry, you also have a chance to be involved in the inner-workings that create, lead and grow this ministry!  Your inside look at the leadership system will be an experience that will benefit you throughout life no matter what field of work you find yourself doing.
